CAS Hanwei SH2468 Frog Wakizashi

The Kaeru wakizashi features a hand-forged and folded powder steel blade with a medium-length (chu) kissaki. The saya is deeply lacquered in black and the tsuka is wrapped in high quality ray skin (same) with premium dark blue Japanese cotton tsuka-ito. The tsuba is crafted in blackened iron, detailed in gold and silver, and adorned with a frog on lily pad scene decoration. The elegant silk sageo is woven in dark blue and moss green to complement the frog theme. The fuchi and kashira are black with brass detailing, while the kojiri, koiguchi, and kurikata are polished buffalo horn. The habaki is constructed from one piece of brass.
