Viking Sword Practice Ready for Battle

The sword is designed based on the well-known gottfried sword from the ninth century and was created by the renowned blacksmith Paul Chen (Hanwei). It features a hardened carbon steel blade that is forged to the pommel and riveted to the end of the handle. The handle itself is made of wood and wrapped in leather, with quillons and a steel pommel. The tip of the blade has been rounded for safety.

For added protection against impact, the sword comes with a fiberglass sheath designed to look like wood. The sheath also features decorative metal fittings and two leather straps for secure carrying. This sword is classified as an exhibition fight quality class: SK-B.

The total length of the sword is approximately 91 cm, with a blade length of approximately 76.0 cm and a maximum blade width of approximately 3.6 cm. It weighs around 1150 g and is made of AISI 1090 material, with a Rockwell hardness rating of approximately 50 HRC.
