Hanwei - Wakizashi Sword Dragonfly

The tonbo wakizashi leaf is a hand-forged and folded blade made of powder steel, with a medium-length kissaki (chu). The saya is a deep black lacquer adorned with golden dragonflies, and the tsuka features high-quality ray skin with premium violet Japanese cotton tsuka-ito. The tsuba is expertly molded by stainless steel craftsmen, with a patina resembling blackened iron, gold and bronze accents, and exquisite dragonfly scenes. The silk sage complements the piece with an elegant weave in dark blue and black. The fuchi and kashira feature black with bronze and brass details, while the kojiri, koiguchi, and kurikata are polished buffalo horn. The habaki is constructed of brass in one piece. This wakizashi is manufactured by Cas Hanwei and features a forged and hand-folded steel blade, along with a silk sageo. Its traditional construction measures 69 cm total, with a blade length of 49.5 cm and a handle length of 16.5 cm. The weight is 770 grams, with a balance point at 3 3/4". The sori measures at 1/2". The blade steel used is K120C.
