Hanwei Tonbo Katana W, Black

The Tonbo katana features a hand-forged and folded powder steel blade with a medium-length (chu) kissaki. The deep black lacquer saya showcases gold dragonflies, while the tsuka is wrapped in high-quality ray skin (same) and premium purple Japanese cotton tsuka-ito. The tsuba is crafted in black iron with gold and bronze detailing, depicting an exquisite dragonfly scene. The elegant silk sageo is woven in dark blue and black, complementing the overall design.

The fuchi and kashira are adorned with bronze and brass detailing, while the polished buffalo horn kojiri, koiguchi, and kurikata add a touch of sophistication. The habaki is constructed from one-piece brass. The Tonbo katana measures 42 1/8" overall, with a 28" blade length and a 12 1/2" handle length. Weighing 2lb 5oz, it has a point of balance at 4 5/8" and a sori of 1". The blade is made of K120Chand forged and folded steel, and it features a real silk sageo and traditional construction.
