This sword is a single piece forged in pattern-welded high-carbon steel, drawing inspiration from swords unearthed in the vicinity of Trondheim, Norway. The design reflects the early ninth-century style, a period when Norwegian Vikings were raiding Britain and Ireland. The exquisite blade is complemented by a grip and scabbard, both encased in top-grain leather and adorned with a traditional Viking motif. The sword measures 30 1/4" overall, with a 24" blade and a weight of 2lb 7oz. The one-piece folded blade-guard-pommel and the leather-wrapped wood core scabbard exhibit meticulous carved details, adding to the sword's allure.
